James and Luke Jubran started Smile Outdoors. it is a series of books aimed towards kids reading about the wild world we love. Lets be honest ( I helped raise three kidos) getting kids into the outdoors can be at a minimum, complicated. So how about reading to to them, and teaching them the alphabet, using books written and designed by hunters. It's like imprinting a love of the natural world to them without a backpack or car seat!

Paul and Chad from Brays Island Plantation, joined me last winter to describe what it takes to build a paradise for upland hunters. A little history, a little tour and a lot of desire on my part to return.

Brett Walton hunted in between morning and evening milking on his Grandfathers dairy farm. Now he hunts between Thursday and Monday in the great state of Kansas. Building Walton's Inc. wasn't easy, but with great family and employees, anything can be accomplished.

We get to hear from both of them and their experiences. If all breeders helped new owners like Camille and all new pup owners followed up with training like Claire, the dog world would be all the better!!
