Brent grew up in rural Arkansas in a time when quail were plenty and so were places to chase them. Duck hunting replaced the uplands and now he finds himself lighting up the treetops in search of ring-tailed bandits.

Jennifer is a one of a kind. She owns Quinebaug Kennels. QK is a premier facility in Connecticut. From training to trialing, boarding and grooming, you name it, and QK does it. I was able to meet up with Jennifer this past October in my home state of Michigan. I caught up with her on the last leg of her yearly hunt that started in ND and ended in the U.P. I brought Alberto on the podcast after meeting him last spring. Hunting brought him to testing his dog. testing his dog at the highest level, took him and his brother to Montana. After passing two dogs last September at the Invitational, he drove with his brother and friends straight to Montana. What a year he has had!!

Just silly talk after five days of walking and shooting. This year we added another couple to the party. Which brought down the median age of the camp. But it also brought up the drinking and chatter. Enjoy, I hope your season is off to a great start!
